This course is designed for those who have taken “Fundamentals of Art” and for those who are seeking a more focused approach to the study of art. In this class, we will concentrate on three areas of artistic discipline: drawing, painting, and the development of style. Students will be encouraged to explore different medium as well as refine their artistic technique. There will be weekly homework assignments. They will involve copying a master artists’ work as well as some special projects. Students have the freedom to visually express their creations through their choice of medium.
