About the course: Western Civilization weaves the political, economic, religious, intellectual, cultural, and military aspects of history into a gripping story that is as memorable as it is instructive. The student will be exposed to primary source documents that are the foundation for the historical analysis you find in the textbook and other secondary source materials. These documents include letters, poems, songs, and pictures that enliven the past. Through class discussion; study, history becomes relatable to the modern student. Students will apply knowledge of western civilization to various creative projects.
