Lauren Landerman

Physical Science and Biology

The more I learn about creation, the intricacies of living things, laws that govern the universe, and the beauty in variety, the more I am in awe of God.

My name is Lauren Landerman. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS degree in Zoology, and did the majority of my postgraduate masters work in Secondary Education at Bowie State. I recently retired from teaching in the Maryland Public School system for 32 years. My first 6 years were spent teaching high school biology in Prince Georges County and the rest were spent teaching physical science in Howard County.

I have been a Christian for 20 years and currently attend Crossroads Church in Ellicott City MD, where I live with my husband, Art Landerman. We both serve in the worship ministry there.  God has blessed me with 2 sons, a daughter-in-law, and 2 precious granddaughters age 5 and 7.

I hope, and indeed my goal in teaching is, to have students desire to learn more about the author and creator of everything around them and in them.
