Parent Volunteer Requirements

Cornerstone Tutorial operates as a cooperative community. The success and safety of our program depend on the active participation of every family. To ensure our Mondays run smoothly, we require all families to contribute through either Daily Duty Sign-ups or Year-Long Leadership Positions.

1. Required Sign-ups

Unless you have committed to a Year-Long Position (see below), each registered family is required to sign up for:

• Two (2) Parent-of-the-Day (POD) slot

• One (1) On-Call slot

Important Scheduling Note: Please prioritize filling slots in the first semester first. If slots remain open as the year progresses, families may be asked to sign up for additional shifts.

IMPORTANT

Attendance & Coverage Policy

You are responsible for the dates you select. If you cannot fulfill your shift, you must find your own replacement. * Do NOT contact the On-Call person to cover your scheduled shift.

  • To find coverage: Post a request in the Cornerstone Facebook Group or email the Building Liaison at buildingliaison@cornerstonetutorial.org to request the family contact list for a trade.
  • Failure to show for a shift or find a replacement may result in a $100 fee assessed at the discretion of the Board.
